I know
you'll enjoy your visit and hope you'll stay awhile. My goal
was to develop an unusual, user-friendly website that's fun
and filled with neat stuff. I'm especially pleased with the
Resource page that's full of helpful and fantastic links.
Please
come back to the website often news and patterns will be
added on a regular basis.

Years ago I made a doll for our doll club's Dimensions in Dollmaking Exhibit
that everyone loved. I taught her for a year, then forgot about her. Her
name then was "Nights in White Satin". I love the Moody Blues and
particularly that song.

She is now ready for
her public debut as a pattern. Her name now is “Janet Anne, a Fashion
Doll". The body is perfect for all kinds of fashions and I'll be coming out
with more outfits for her down the road. Right now she has an every-day
type dress with purse and shoes, and her white satin evening gown with a
silk wrap and satin slippers.

Cruising with Soft Dolls is filling up. We have only 10 cabins left. The
final deadline for the group rate is June 19. If you are interested contact
Barbara Roby, CTC at
barbara@brtravelservices.com The doll I'll be teaching is up on my
blog.

I have a new pattern to announce. Penny
Cassandra is a functional 18-inch all cloth doll. Her skirt is in two
sections with pockets inside to hold our sewing needs. A pincushion and
needle holder are also part of the pattern.
Check her out in the
Patterns section.

Another exciting Year so far. Our Cosmic Queens do Faces day was a
wonderful day. We had the local press taking photo's and the editor of
Art Doll Quarterly came. There are two new things to announce here at
PMC Designs. First, I have finally finished the pattern of "Little
Star Pincushion". Several of you have been asking if she'd ever be a
pattern, and she is.
Second, we've scheduled the next
Cruising with Soft Dolls. It will be Feb. 22, 2009 and will cruise on
a new ship, Celebrity's Solstice. We'll cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to
Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and St. Maarte and have 3 full days at see for
classes. The teachers are elinor peace bailey, Barbara Willis, Gail
Wilson and myself.
